Our Process

Are you ready to modernize your website? Today's internet users are accustomed to unprecedented functionality and excitement when visiting a website. Your website is your public image to your members and if that image is in need of a make-over, ATS can help!

We will work directly with your organization to develop:

  • Visually stunning design and functional simplicity
  • Fully customized "look and feel" developed specifically for your website and members
  • Customized graphics and images

ATS development team members are experts in all areas of web design. We will develop the best website for your organization's needs. Why use an out-of-the-box website design application that will not separate your organization from the hundreds of other organizations whose website will look exactly like yours?

Phase I – Discovery

The Discovery phase helps identify the goals of your Web redesign project. We use a brief survey that will allow you to communicate your wants and needs. It will also give you an opportunity to give specific examples of what you like and don’t like. This phase will also include conference calls to determine needs and functional specifications of the project including more detail on your specific goals for your new Web site. The end result of this phase is to create an approved inventory of elements for global wrapper and the home page.

Phase II - Wireframe

Based on the information collected during the Discovery phase ATS will generate several wireframe options to explore different ways to layout the inventory of site elements from the Discovery phase. At this point we are not looking at graphics and color. The wireframes will cover basic layout and visual hierarchy for the new site. Once a wireframe is selected and approved, we can move on to the Design phase.

Phase III - Design

The approved wireframe will be used to create several graphic design proposals. These proposals will be truly different options and not just different color options of a single concept. We start with the global wrapper and home page look and feel. All content will be just placeholder until later in the process. After selecting and dialing in a wrapper/home page design we will move onto the “content” page design. The content page design will also include examples of proposed textual formatting for basic content types (headings, paragraphs, bullet lists, etc.) as well as out of the box RiSE base ui elements.

We have had tremendous success with this approach in both the results for the client as well as keeping the costs down. Examples of this process can be viewed on our portfolio page

Phase IV - Develop

In the Develop phase, we will use RiSE’s web-based Theme Builder tools to develop the new custom template and theme to make it real. At the end of the Development phase you will have a new RiSE site with the custom design applied and ready to accept content.

Phase V – Deploy

Once the custom template and theme has been developed and content has been populated, ATS will work with your team and the ASI EMS team to bring what has been developed in the staging environment live.

Ongoing Support

This phase of the project includes the ongoing support of both your organization and your new Web site. Aa. After implementation, ATS is here to support your organization and website application. Our helpdesk is open daily to answer all your iMIS questions from 7am-6pm Mountain time excluding holidays.

Allowing ATS to design a custom website for your organization will not only offer the most functionality to your members and give your organization the best public image possible but will also free up your IT staff to focus on how your website works. Let your staff work proactively to develop applications to best service your members and ensure your organization is constantly moving forward rather than simply reacting to the ever changing needs of your members.
