Keeping your Username and Email address in Synch
iMIS now allows you to synch your username with your email address when creating an account. However, if you later change your email address, or username, they can get out of synch. This iPart solves that problem.
It can be configured as both a public facing iPart and a staff iPart.
For the public, we recommend removing the standard email address field and replacing it with this iPart asking for the new username and then the password. Once they are entered and the user hits save, both the primary email address and the username will be updated.
For staff, the same iPart can be used. When configured for staff, a password will not be required providing an easy way for staff to update the primary email address and username simultaneously.
