GeoCoding Module

The ATS Geocoding module allows organizations to add functionality to their iMIS external websites to search for members based upon address information that is input by a user. The module will send the information to Google Maps and provide a visual representation of member or office locations. In addition, the module uses iMIS’ Name_Picture table to include pictures in the results set on Google Maps. This module adds value to the iMIS product by allowing members to simply drop a .NET control onto their iMIS home pages and instantly allow their members to utilize this new functionality. Any organization whose external users conduct searches from their website to return address locations of their members can utilize this module.

The Geocoding module uses a custom demographic in iMIS to capture the latitude and longitude of an address. Once an individual conducts a search, the module will first determine if the latitude and longitude exists for an address and will use the saved information if it exists. If the latitude and longitude information is not available, the module will use Google to get the latitude and longitude and store the information in the custom demographic once it has the information. Therefore, the database is self populating and will not require user input to return accurate results.

In addition, this module can be used by iMIS users internally to return a visual representation of member locations in an iMIS database using different IQA queries. For example, an organization can build an IQA query to determine a list of attendees for a meeting or a query for everyone who has logged into iMIS in a particular day. The results from the IQA query will be returned to the module and the user will get their results on a Google map instead of merely a list of addresses, thus enhancing the functionality and usability iMIS’ IQA module.

2007 iMIS Innovation of the Year

National Change of Address Module

The ATS NCOA system is a standalone .NET application which allows for seamless integration with the NCOA (National Change of Address) database.

The application uses the .NET iMIS Business Objects to export and read in address changes and updates. In addition address corrections will be automatically updated and logged in iMIS.

This innovative system is a low cost method for iMIS users to update their database with accurate address information. Please review the product brochure for more details about this time saving product.

What is the Move Update Requirement?

The new Move Update requirement that goes into effect November 23, 2008 requires addresses on all presorted First-Class Mail^® and Standard Mail^® be updated within 95 days before the mailing date with a USPS-approved method. Read More...

NCOALink is one of the approved methods for updating addresses. The update standard applies to each address, not to a specific list or mailing.

While many organizations feel that their mail houses will apply updates to their lists, this process does NOT subsequently update their iMIS database.

The ATS National Change of Address NCOA Update Utility for iMIS is a cutting-edge application that allows the user to easily integrate changes from the USPS NCOA system with their iMIS customer address data. The application uses the iMIS Business Objects to ensure accurate, full updates of address changes, and will trigger change logging during the import process (if enabled within iMIS). Use of this utility requires that the organization own the eCustomer module.

Quality Control Module

The quality control module is a program which allows a user to create queries which will run on a scheduled basis and send an email for each record that matches the search criteria. The system takes advantage of the iMIS database schema by using the updated by fields which get modified when an iMIS user modifies the data in a field. The user has the option to setup the query so that the email message goes to a static address or to the person who last updated the record. Associations have use this technology to find records in their iMIS database that are missing data or have incorrect data.

The system works by creating stored procedures in your SQL server or MSDE database. In addition SQL jobs are created and scheduled to run at the intervals that you specify.

Many associations find that they have a number of records that don’t meet their data standards. Therefore we recommend that you start out slowly with the association and don’t overwhelm the users. You will achieve a higher level of acceptance if you start with one or two quality controls and limit the number of records that are emailed out to staff. The system will allow you to specify a maximum number of records to be reported.

ATS SSN Encryption Module

the Social Security Number (SSN) Encryption module allows you to maintain SSN in a secure manner only allowing those with the proper security clearance to be able to access the full SSN. Organizations should avoid the use of SSN for record-keeping purposes and as personal identifiers. The use of SSN’s in iMIS puts members at risk if unscrupulous people are allowed to access or obtain the number for fraudulent purposes, for example, obtaining credit card accounts in another person’s name. However there are sometimes legitimate business needs for maintaining SSN’s including government regulations for certification.

iMIS customers who have a legitimate need to maintain SSN’s have a responsibility to make sure that access to the numbers is only available on a need to know basis. In addition the underlying data in your database must be encrypted.

The Social Security Number Encryption module will help you setup your database to encrypt the SSN numbers and ensure that only those people you authorize will have access to the unencrypted numbers.

This module requires that you have previously purchased the iMIS Xtender Module to allow you to run custom Xtender modules.

ATS Continuing Education Approval System

The ATS Continuing Education Approval System (CEAS) provides a fully iMIS-integrated method of managing the process of submitting an application for a continuing education program and the review of that application. Hospitals and other health related facilities use the online form to submit an application. Once approved, the facility can provide that educational session to the health care professionals for two years.

This module integrates with the iMIS Customer Module and the orders system. All processes that integrate with iMIS use the .NET iMIS Business Objects.

The Continuing Education Approval System allows a pre-determined team of reviewers to confirm that the application meets standards. If it does not, the reviewers can add notes indicating the deficiencies and the original person who submitted the review is notified and requested to make the necessary modifications to bring the application into compliance.

• .NET Based submission form with data stored in iMIS tables and ancillary tables that uses the .NET IBOs
• Allows submitters to upload supporting documentation such as PDF flyers

Prometric Data Transfer

The ATS - Prometric Data Transfer Module manages the automated transfer of test eligibility data to, and test results from, Prometric. The data transfer process consists of three main pieces: The data “in” process, the data “out” process, and reporting process. This module integrates iMIS with a fully automated system to manage exams for iMIS users who partner with Prometric. Any organization that uses Prometric to manage their exams will benefit from this module. This module can even be used to automate the printing process of Renewal ID Cards and/or Certificates of Completion.

Data "In" Process

The Data "In" procedure performs the following:

1. Downloads all outstanding test result files from the Prometric FTP server, and removes them from the server. The files are stored in an archive folder on the local web server should they be needed later.
2. Parses the data from Prometric and saves it to a table that stores the raw input for reporting later.
3. Updates the status on each individual’s application from “Pending” to either “Passed” or “Failed”.
4. If any results are returned that do not match a Pending application record in iMIS, the user is alerted to the anomaly.

This process could be run as often as needed. After import job has been processed reports can be generated and sent to a printing house to automate certificate prints and/or ID card prints.

Data "Out" Process

The data “out” procedure creates a comma-delimited file containing all individuals whose applications were submitted in the given date range, with a “Pending” status. The user is notified of the number of records the transmission will contain as a data integrity check before the data is sent. The data is saved in a database table for later reporting, and the comma-delimited file is uploaded to Prometric’s servers.

Reporting

This procedure creates custom reports based upon the organizations business rules based upon the data that has been imported into iMIS from Prometric. This procedure can be used to create quarterly reports on the number of individuals who have passed, failed, or even those individual who had not shown for an exam during any exam cycle. Year-end reports can be created to track the number of new applications versus the number retakes. The types of reports that can be generated based upon exam data is limitless as long as the information has been input into iMIS as part of the data “in” process.

SalesForce CRM

ATS has tools for integrating iMIS with SalesForce CRM!

When integrating iMIS with third party systems such as SalesForce the goals are usually to allow input of information in either system and synchronize the two systems. That is exactly what the integration does. ATS integrates

• iMIS records with SalesForce accounts, contacts, and leads.
• MIS Activities with SalesForce Tasks, Opportunities, and Events

Using the iMIS change log and the Sales Force change log, records can be checked for differences. Logic is then used to determine which piece of information in which system is newer. Then the older data is updated with the newer data from each system. An extensive mapping will help to set business rules to determine which fields in iMIS get mapped to which fields in SaleForce.

In addition an administrative portal provides you

• Configuration tools to let you manage the usernames, passwords associated with the installations.
• Full scheduling of the job including frequency and black out times/dates
Full logging including records updated, changes, deleted, and any records that could not be processed due to validation errors on either system.
